This is a great example of an ecommerce website (online shop). It sells one range of product at the moment (Dermalogica Beauty Care products), making it great to marketing to the niche market.

Lutroo’s brief was to design the website as well as all the branding for the website, including the logo. We looked carefully at the websites of the competitors so that we could add features to the site that made Jersey Beauty Company stand out (such as advice centres).

Of course, the fact that this company is based on Jersey also means that it can ship products to the UK without VAT – giving it a distinct price advantage.

So this website not only exploits better features but also better pricing. We worked hard to make the website easy-to-navigate as well as incorporating a great search feature that is quick and accurate.

We are biased of course, but we think that this is a much better site than those of its competitors. So we added the zStats package that allows to accurately monitor how each customer is referred to the site. This is especially important with Pay Per Click advertising as we can monitor referring clicks (and prices) and see the conversion rates for each keyword.

Looking at these stats – it seems visitors to the site also think that the site is better!
